I have just bought a new PC and it has windows 7 home premium on it. My printer is a Photosmart 8150.Is there any way I can make it work with this new computer. I have gone into the microsoft website for help and tried everything there but it still wont work. Any help would be apreciated.

Normally you just connect the computer to the printer with a usb cable, turn on the printer and windows will detect it & install the driver for you.

Some of the solution center software's functionality may not work but printing should definitely work.

A full feature software and driver package is not available for your HP product. However, the drivers for your HP product are already included in the new Windows 7 operating system!

Cheers everybody I now have a fully functioning printer. Any one know how I can check my ink levels. It used to show automatically when i went to print something. Got nothing when i went into properties.

probably not as you just have a basic driver as that info would have been displayed with the fully featured driver

yeah but according to old aussie's post the full driver is incompatible with Windows 7
