Jeez, the French are as dull as ditchwater. I hope a South African handball knocks them out. :D

Why didnt the England head coach call time out and challenge the call to get a reversal?:D

They have a poor goal man team alright. Team USA ain't going to get another basket though unless ingerland give them a free one again though. Half time show now though and a bit of chearleadering from Beckham for the goal man to build his confidence back up, and then ready for the third quarter.

That poor green fella is gonna be lambasted in the press today. They'll start making vegetables out of his head etc. Come on England. Can't believe how loud I actually cheered when stevie g scored, and how disappointed I was when they leaked the goal. They need to improve though, I'd defo drop the keeper now.

Would be of the other persuasion James and Robinson didnt recover from there blunders for England for a long time, Green came out in second half and made some great saves (one super one in particular). Think it is out of his system and hope he gets another chance. Not a hope of them winning it though

    HONDURAS FOR THE WC:p

The british papers have some great headlines.. Hand of Clod.. Tainted Glove :D

Terrible match though. The RTE panel took the English team, and tactics, apart. Watching the highlights (term used loosely) on BBC last night you would think it was a different match by the way their panel interpreted things. Do they not see that its mainly route 1 stuff and very predictable? Playing Lampard and Gerard together made Lampard fairly anonymous. Is there not a holding midfield player in England that could be slotted in. At this rate they better buck up or they could struggle in their group.

Did anyone see someone else running from Malin to Mizen yesterday? Looks like it's for Down's Syndrome but they're taking 11 days.

The England band did manage to drown out the sound of that swarm of bees at a couple of points which has to be a good thing. I'm sure that constant drone isn't good for your hearing.

Well done. A great time, you seem to PB on nearly every 10k you do. Are you doing any training?:pac:

A heavy week for you:D Pity your not around for the Trinity track races next Thursday. I thinking of having a go at the 800m and the 3000m. Should be a good evening if the weather's good.

Would that be back-seat modding?! Quiet you, and quiet Ms Kirby for thanking the post as well!

6 point lead at half time, that'll do I suppose... Now back to the Grand Prix :)

Meath-like performance from Laois today to come back from a 5 point deficit with 15 to go in normal time and a three point deficit with 5 to go in extra time. Hopefully win the replay and see how we go against Wexford in the next round.
