Guys, doing a post mortem on the exam is not good for ye!:p Ye aren't the only ones who thought the exam was hard-hundreds, maybe thousands of other JCers around the country are probably really, really diappointed with it, and from what I've read, it sounds like it was really hard:(
You need to have a good PMA-positive mental attitude!:) These are the positives ye can take now:
-Ye were able to write something for each question, even if you didn't exactly answer the question, ye will get marks for it
-There are plenty of people just like you all around the country, who found the exam very difficult
-Ye have now finished 4 of your exams!
-It's Friday tomorrow and ye have the whole weekend ahead of ye!
Guys, I'm gonna sound like a hippy saying this but.....BE HAPPY!!:D:);)

Wait wait it's only 90 marks? Sure if someone told me that before I wouldn't have been as bothered paper 1 was way easier and was worth more!

Worst paper ever I feel like crying... The one poem I knew couldn't be used cause all the options were on a duine like wtf?
The seen fiction was even worse the novel we done( Aililiu Bop Siuaidi) didn't fit a single one of the headings and I had nothing as back up!
Poetry was hard the fiction was hard and the letter was the only okay bit but still...

I did the same novel aswell.. I looked at the pros and filiocht first as i was doin me studied questions at the start and it kinda threw me off.. But I looked at the options again and used 'Saol sa Scoil' for aliliu? Thought it was a long shot but ended up fillin a page and a half and threw some quotes in for good measure
Could see some faces drop when they saw the studied questions though... thank god for my knack for irish Still it coulda been just aloada a waffle :pac: 0 -

With Paper I being so comfortable across the board, I had a gut feeling that Paper II would balance it out.
I scrambled to get my Studied Pros & Filiocht Questions answered and then the Litir. On return to do the Unseen Pros & Filiocht, I felt the pressure was really on and just got the jist of both of them and then answered the questions.
Did anybody else feel it could've been a two hour exam? Time is a bitch! Like considering the Three hour break we had between the two??:rolleyes:
Oh, and I felt the "B" Options were quite hard to apply to my studied stuff so had to do it in a "round about" sort of way. The options were more specific then usual.
The idea of them using "duine" in all of the poetry instantly ruled out the use of a poem about animals or things other than people. I still cheekily tied it in with Luichin sa Scoil... Lets hope the personification covered my arse for it:pac:

okay the unseen pros... was quite difficult... something about the stolen mona lisa or something didnt really have a clue :P
seen pros: i chose saol na scoile, i used spas and focused on the girl not having freedom and space in school.. etc.. did okay i think! :S
unseen poetry... oh sweet lord... a poodle??i :P didnt understand the 2nd poem AT ALL!! whatsoever
so answered all on the poodle poem :L
studied poetry....i chose dunie uaigneach.. i used ceann de mhannix talking bout how lonely she was since her dog mannix died... did grand
the letter.. Wrote about the holiday... it was easy... but i made it very dragging and boring... ah sure :P
paper one was so much easier the listening also no more irish til sept now thats the job..! 0 -
