    Hey folks.

I'm looking for a store in the Cork area, that sells plasterlike materials, preferably somewhat harder and faster setting than normal Plaster of Paris.

I'll be using it for the molds and models you can find at: http://www.hirstarts.com/

Any ideas would be greatly welcomed. :)

(Been surfing the boards a bit, but all the stores I could find were in the Dublin area, and/or didn't have fully functional online stores).

    Cork Art Supplies Ltd
    26-28 Princes Street
    Cork
    Ireland

I cast hirst blocks myself using casting plaster and it's fine for them.

    Is that the Decoarts one?

    Or the Scolasta?

(I think that's the name of them) - I've found the Scola-one to be very soft and easy to work with. Too soft though and it takes forever to set. :(

    ----

Nevermind. I found it on their website, and it's the Decorarts one. :) I'll be trying that one out. Thanks for the tip :)

    hey,

i dont know where youd fine it in cork but there's a dental casting/mould making stuff called Alginate. it sets real quick and picks up alot of fine detail.

worth a look if you can find it.
