What is the story with over weight people deciding to wear next to nothing this year? Blokes with their bellies hanging out. Girls with multi muffins going on.

Is it time to say showing off your flab is not OK in the same way saying too skinny is not OK?

I blame the media for making people think it is OK to be overweight. They were once saying it was OK to be skinny!

    /scrubs out eyeballs.

Whoever allows themselves to be influenced by the media is a person of low intelligence.

I don't know how anyone could think it is ok to be unhealthy.

If you apply a minimal amount of intelligence to the problem you'll probably find that extra layers of clothes are uncomfortably warm.

    * looks down at belly *

/ breaths a sigh of relief

/ throws another steak on the barbie

/ puts newspaper under barbicue to catch any grease

if that sight is distrurbing for you OP, look somewhere else.

Yoy are concerned with the display of an unhealthy body rather than the being unhealthy itself..that's worrying imo

So are extra layers of flesh. Catch 22.

I object to you calling me names... even though you did it in a fancy way.

Or I may find you real cool for finding a loop hole for doing it.

Who, whose opinion matters to me, says?

You need to stop focusing on other peoples flaws and focus on your own a bit more OP

Anyone else think that people who give out about fat people on AH are probably a bit on the heavy side themselves? I always picture the OP like this when I see these kinds of threads. ;)

I have no issue with overweight people wearing shorts, (medium length!) skirts or v-necks. I do, however, draw the line at crop tops which seem to have climbed back into fashion, thus creating the illusion that anyone can wear them. Even most skinny people look ridiculous with crop tops on, though.

    Sure they're "curves" my dear.

    God bless Gok.

    not srs

I blame the media for making people think it is OK to be overweight.

I blame people who cannot be happy with themselves and so look outward to criticise others even more harshly.

If someone is doing no harm to yourself or others, leave them be.

I for one welcome our overweight overlords.

    Sorry couldn't resist:o

I am not giving out about fat people. Just people showing off bodies that should not be shown off. Fat or thin.

    Simple really.

How you see me has been reported.

So you propose widespread distribution of burkas then ?
Or some form of countrywide dress code ?

Your unhappiness has come from within you, not from the outside.

speaking as a fat girl (lil'bug is really big bug) i always try and keep me wobbly bits covered as i think it does look terrible, i haven't got it so i don't flaunt it

Some fat people not insecure enough. Nobody wants to see a pasty beer gut on the beach. At least wear a t-shirt or a vest.

I have looked after myself. I read all the notices. Health, body and mind.

I am asking for nothing just pointing out how horrid it can be driving around cities in Ireland these days due to people not adhering to a decent lifestyle, or due to medical reasons.

I keep my beer belly under wraps. I wouldn't inflict it on anybody. Funnily enough the rest of the bod allows shorts etc. Then again I wouldn't wander around town without a t shirt anyway.
