Thanks OP! Just got Band Hero for Wii.

7.99 for Don King boxing in HMV (cheapest I could find that they'd accept). Next door to Gamestop (on Henry Street) - happy days.... Think they had 2 left for Wii... Liffey street had them for Wii earlier in the week too!

Create a setlist containing all "Secret Notes" songs. Then, play Vocals only, set the difficulty to Beginner, and put the microphone in front of a fan. You should get 100% on all songs and get the "Treasure Hunt" and all "Secret Notes" trophies.

gamestop longford do have this offer

got dj hero for a tenner today , the guys were sound enough told me that almost any game that sells pre owend for 17.99 or more will work

Picked up Band Hero in Galway earlier this afternoon. Still stock left, so I was told. Re trade-ins, I was told that any of the games that they sold secondhand for €15+ would work. Specified Fallout 3 & GTA IV, just in case. Picked up Bionic Commando around the corner in HMV for a tenner, so job done!

Picked up Band Hero for a copy of Infamous on the PS3 and a tenner, nice!
Also traded in Street Fighter IV and got Super Street Fighter IV for a fiver, I traded in AvP and got Lost Planet 2 for another fiver!
And I paid 30 for Metro 2033, no deal there, but a great game!

Henry Street had a PS3 and Wii version left at 6pm today,get in as soon as you can tomorrow,Bank Holiday weekend so alot of people maybe up for the day, more people off work, etc.

Got what I think was the last Wii version in Henry St yesterday at 1700. Bit of to-ing & fro-ing to see what trade-in games qualified, & one member of staff would have traded in an x-box game against the Bandhero Wii, but the other wouldn't, but in the end it worked out. I didn't have any Wii games but remembered this post above & did the same. Handed over a brand new Don King Boxing - cost Eur7.99.

I only found this out today, so I could be very slow

but in case anyone doesnt know, if you have rock band drum set or the old GH drum set, remove the kick pedal and put the jack into the black jack on the back of the centre piece on the BH drums with all the controls, and voila! Double Kicks! Expert + then!

Pity expert plus on a taylor swift song isnt exactly challenging...:rolleyes:

Hubby took the xbox midi control module from the drums (which just clips off, handily enough) and plugged his Roland electronic drum kit into it (TD10), and they worked straight away - he can now play band hero etc. on his real drums

I know this has nothing to do with band hero but alot of people have been asking about dj hero in this thread so i tought id post up here

I sent an email to gs santry there last week asking about do they have any dj hero's left for the 360 and only heard back today:

Hi Damien,

We currently do have some stock of DJ Hero left on the Wii and the 360.
The deal is Trade in a game [the game must reach certain criteria to be eligable for Trade] and get DJ Hero for E20, not E10 as stated in your e-mail.

Don't forget to bring your Music CD's and use them to pay for you games. A lot less expencive then spending cash!

In Athlone the actually DJ hero box had the €20 price on it, while the the DVD case (that said that it was the entire set) had the €10 price, so he probably isn't lieing.

After getting the Band Hero for PS3 (thanks again OP), I also got the Rock Band game and can confirm it is working fine (tried guitar only).

Also just ordered Rock Band: Song Pack 2 from MyMemory which is £5.56 including delivery at the moment (use FIFA20 code at the checkout).
