Oh I think I need a different oil for popcorn so something or how do people make it here on the hob...mine keeps burning the bottom row but the rest is perfect...lower temp?

Ewwww mushy peas! I thought I didn't like mushy peas at all because the few times I ate in the canteen in primary school (normally I just went home for lunch) they had stuff like rice with these horrible tasting peas =/ Good thing I learned that it depends on the type you're eating. But mushy peas are horrible.Judging from that story, I do not blame you for not wanting it again!
I can't eat mushy peas cos when I was a baby (about 2), with my childhood friend (6 months between us, dad's are friends since they were babies!), my mum put a bowl of peas on the table in front of my friend, who dislikes mushy peas. So...he takes said bowl of peas and plonks them on top of my head. I do not like mushy peas.
But I digress.
Poor you, it must have hurt a lot if it made you not like them now.

I just use sunflower or olive oil (simply because it's what I tend to have in the kitchen). Don't use butter because it can burn. I think you might need to use a pan with a heavier base. grr like 15/20% of my class failed exams so no masters for them, it sucks
She told one friend to lie about something to get another chance and he won't lie. He's a good lad really, ah well..
ok 4 good friends failed so far, not cool! Silly hard exams...they worked so hard too.
Some paid a LOT of money to do this. grr
