Hi, Received my new UPC card which has detailed instructions how to install. It does not say if the unit should be powered on or off during procedure. I think it should be off but that's no help because it doesn't say. Anybody know? Thanks.

I had to do this the last year, i just followed the steps to download software, then before bed i changed the card and left the box on while i done this.

    I had digital + box

    And all went well

The card is just for encryption decoding, it won't improve your service at all but it will help UPC in their crusade against dodgy boxes.
