Certificate or Diploma for Degree?

If one could not complete the Degree program assessment in the Final year due to Sickness but has done well in all assessment prior to the Final year. And maybe too sick to continue. Could one ask for a Diploma or Certificate, instead of just hanging on the Result sheets only? Your opinion is needed, please.

It's very unlikely, but you should really contact your course chairperson or the Registry with your query.
