Problems joining Windows 2003 domain

    Hi,

    Just looking for a bit of help with the below. I am trying to join an ubuntu 10.04 machine to a W2K3 domain using Likewise but getting the following error:
    Lsass Error

    40286 (0x9D5E) LW_ERROR_LDAP_SERVER_DOWN - Unknown error

    Error code: CENTERROR_DOMAINJOIN_LSASS_ERROR (0x00080047)

    I get the same error using domainjoin-cli but I run lw-get-dc-name it can find the domain ok. I have added linux machines to the domain in the past so not sure what the problem is here.

    Any ideas?

    Hmmmm seems to be working now.

    I tried to join it a few more times from the terminal and manually added the windows dc to the host file, but kept getting the same errors. Then when I opened up Likewise to try it through that it said I was already a member of the domain. Well, it's working now anyways so that's the main thing I suppose.
