Do you make notes even? I don't really buy books, just get them from the librarieS. Then I'd make notes, not that I ever use the notes but making them helps understand and remember right?
And that made me laugh too electro /throws about some physics books.

No I don't take noteS, most the time don't wear glasses so couldn't read anyway. If I am answering an exam paper or sth and don't understand I just send my guess at it to a lecturer and they tell me. Plagued my supervisor in 4th year because he had a hard subject...he emailed me so many answers that came up, hand drawn by him...
I am terrible for zoning out in lectures anyway, just give me a courses notes, past exam papers and a few days and I'll be grand, don't really need to have gone to the class at all with the internet. That said for subjects like this... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hennessy-Milner_logic where my lecturer actually created the language and it's not that widespread that wouldn't work...learned the whole course in a two hour tutorial a week before the exam, would have gotten 0, was so relieved ^_^

Hmm I couldn't be relying on course notes, a lot of them just aren't complete, like try reading the GR course notes, you won't see much GR there. Or like one of my lecturers that I had a lot of trouble with only puts her notes on the staff disc and in really short presentation form and they frequently read like this; such and a such an extremely vital equation is...........*blank*
:eek: Oh and forget about asking her. Then stuff comes up that's not in the notes at all but maybe she mentioned it briefly somewhere in class :mad:
I would rather know what book they were following and read that.
I've never really gotten much from class other than to know how far behind I am :pac:
The internet can be very helpful if I need something in detail but it's also quite good at eating my time.

heh for my security class not one thing covered in the notes or in the lectures, it was all research for the exam answers and he was able to ask anything in the world EVER. You are just meant to know it somehow. I had when they do that with lecture slides, bullet points that tell you nothing. We were specifically told things can come up that we haven't been taught but masters is different, you should be grand with notes genereally, unless they suck like you said about that bitch.
I won money playing poker and things in class...and once when I won a load by doing a stupid thing I laughed a lot..and the lecturer was like..that better be digital signal processingnotes you are laughing at
Oh I jsut get my stuff from the net and leave my laptop at home then, need no distractions apart from those reading room people.

Well LOS we're doing much better than last week!! getting the results of that test on Friday :eek: so that and my sisters graduation from school is all I can think about!!
Actually putting my tan on...I use the garnier stuf...makes it look like I've a light tan but not like an oompa loompa...I'm very fair!! (As in I'm like a milk bottle with freckles!!)
Trying to learn about free indirect discourse and dubliners!

Well last night I didn't stay up too late, said I'd sleep and then get up early and I woke up completely shocked it was 4.30pm, one of my house-mates had come home from work, slept and gone back out to work in that time
So I was racked with guilt for a little bit.

I've English Fiction tomorrow, I only really understood the purpose of first year english yesterday, which has made everything so much clearer haha!!
I'm enjoying it, but I've had panic attacks for the last few weeks...LOS talked me around to going into an exam that I wasn't going into last week...albeit I had another panic attack the morning of the exam but still did it!! (hugs LOS)
What did you eat?? :pac: I had pasta and chips earlier, everyone else had fish and chips cos of National Fish and Chips day and dad was like you're left out..have a few chips...only ate like 3 to make him feel better!!!
I feel okay about them, but much better about the fact that all exams will be accompanied by a medical cert...might convince them to bump me up a bit!! :pac: haha!!!

Just had potatoes, mixed beans, corn, peas, broccoli and sunflower seeds nomnom. I want to buy raisins for my stirfries again mmm. also out of mushrooms grr..I'd never turn down chips! I rmeember eating fish and chips In McDonaghs in galway and really thinking that I wanted to become vegetarian
..then I felt bad about my meal eek
