    Sounds good, brand/tesco store?

Brand is HP tescos in bettystown. Be careful as they have the 8gb ones at €13.40.

I checked my local tesco, and its there too.

The 2GB/4GB/8GB on display are all more expensive than the 16GB :D

I got two of them earlier today at my local Tesco in Clondalkin. There were about 15-20 more of them left.

They also have a pack containing two 4GB SDHC cards for only €7, just next to the memory sticks! Definately a misprice, I stocked up needless to say!

Mahon Point is cleared out lindtee so it might be worth giving Douglas or Wilton a go instead.

I picked on up in Tesco Ashbourne. No price on the shelf and there were still a few left. It's this model.

It's quite dinky, only 5cm long - just over 3.5cm really as the connector is retractable!

yeah, it's really quite tiny, especially for 16gb! and it comes with a very handy loopy string to easily attach it to keyrings

    Cheers OP!
Just got the last three in Maynooth. Nothing beats a bit of midnight bargain hunting :D
The security guard that had to remove the tags even raised an eyebrow when he saw the price :p

Cheers OP. The joy of buying this with just Tesco coupons.

4 left in Ballybrack this morning..

Space reported available using Windows XP Home. Drive just removed from retail packaging.

The drive itself is tiny, the case is longer than it. Press, click and lock to extend or retract the drive.

I don't know if I would have bought these without my Tesco coupons. I picked up two for just over 10 euro + Tesco coupons.

Not too keen on the 'caseless' USB plug, this way of saving space can be a bit hit and miss if you're using them in a laptop\desktop with loose USB ports.

If you're shunting big chunks of data, more chance of transfer failure if the drive is nudged etc..

Just to finish things off, I ran ATTO 2.46 to benchmark the thumb drive.

A nice bargain, rather than an essential bargain, certainly for 'over the counter' in the Republic, the price is attractive.

Oddly, as stated before on the thread, the (identical) 8GB HP thumb drive sold alongside the 16GB drive is about 50 or 60 cent more expensive.

    Verdict: Tesco coupon plunder!
