Station upgrade question

I've got the normal UPC pack (basic) If i ring up and ask to be upgraded how long will it take for the stations to come in on my tv

If you have the basic digital package then they can normally do it over the phone, unless they are particularly busy.

If you don't have digital, then you'll need to arrange for them to send you out a set top box, assuming you can get digital in your area, which will take a number of days.
