TV link and UPC boxes

Hi folks switching from sky to upc, anyway from what I have googled a http://www.tvlink.co.uk/tvlinkplus.htm is what I would need to watch and change channels on the bedroom tv.

Has anybody any experience of this product or have they found something similar that they use.

never heard of that but a few peopple i know use video senders.

they send the picture wirelessly but can be hit a miss depending on how far/ thick your walls are etc...

Thanks for the reply, but checked them out and they seem to be fairly pricey. From what I've read on-line the sky eye/link I currently use with my sky box is powered by the sky box itself. Unless the UPC box can do this then I'll need the above.

Surely other people have their upc box in the sitting room and watch tv in their bedrooms/second rooms also, so what by means do they change channels.

I dont see the point in this. Just get UPC to patch up the second room. Its only a few extra quid, then you can watch what you want.

Point being there's only the two of us in the house so don't see the point of having an extra box plus I got rid of sky to cut down on the costs.
