Hey does anyone know why or what chorus are at???

My mother got a call from a chorus technician yesterday evening, he wanted to call to her house and do something with the set top regarding the card, my mother wasnt around so he left his mobile number with her and told her to ring him when she was around and he'd come straight away...

He was a bit pushy on the phone to her..

Can anyone tell me is this legit and what did he want to do to the set top??

Ring UPC and they should be able to confirm if there was any technician or engineer arrange to do site visit.

If they are replacing the smart card, they should have just posted it unless they want to replace the box altogether.

Had one of my older boxes changed in January, however,I got a letter explaining this first, then a call from them to arrange a time, maybe it has something to do with this?
However it would do no harm to phone them and ask what it is about, just to be sure.

i have heard of this happening a few people around, a very push technician rings up wanting to do some thing to the card in the box and if your not around that particular day he'll keep ringing you until your at home....
