Smackhead Jungle... Incredible tune, only got an ID for this a few days ago after first hearing it on a mix CD some random punter in a record shop in Belgium gave me years and years and years ago - always thought it was a Peshay tune for some reason, but it's PFM. Whoever did it, it's just one of those tunes you don't forget in a hurry, and it's also one of those tunes you never hear anyone talking about / never read about on forums etc. etc. Spark up some sess, turn it up as loud as it will go, this one just hurts me every single time...

I really can't understand the way some labels take that approach with tracks on youtube - and the thing is, when they complain you get a 'strike', three of which and you're out. I have one at the moment for putting up a track from Bpitch last year. I've made contact with several labels/artists to ask their view when I post tracks and thankfully they've all come back and said thanks for promoting them, which seems the more logical approach!

Can't get enough of this recent 12" from Kirk Degiorgio, released late 2009 on ART (the classic 'Applied Rhythmic Technology' label from the 90s).

I've picked the track 'Mass' for today but all three are excellent on this 12".
