    Fumming!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    Dont think this would happen if match was in Dublin involving a dublin club!!

    'The potential benefit to the local economy of up to €10million and to the profile of soccer in the region is enormous.

    where do they get this magical number from? :D:D

    The FAI has also told the Blues that it is in active and ongoing negotiations with Barcelona in relation to a visit to the Aviva Stadium.

    So they openly ban Limerick F.C from playing Barca so they can hijack their time to play in Dublin. Bastards!!:mad:

    Guys it wouldn't have made a difference, senior soccer in Limerick is dead and a once off visit by Barcelona wont do anything to change that.

    Senior soccer isnt dead in limerick thats the thing the club is on the up again. We're pushing for promotion this season. We have a new owner who is doing all the right things. He has been looking for a big friendly ike this for a long time to further boost the clubs funding. He is even in talks with the irish greyhound board in connection with a move back to the markets field. He is developing a good relationship with them by allowing them to be the clubs main sponser.

    A club on the up in a great city like limerick organising a major event like this should be commended and backed by the fai not banned. It is an outrage and I call on anybody who knows anything about principal and fairness to do what the limerick fc fans are doing and bombard the fai with emails complaining about this injustice and also to email rte's liveline program to bring this outragous behavour of john delaney an co. to the national media attention.

    FAI= info@fai.ie

    liveline= joe@rte.ie
