    When you are on a call does the phones display stay lit up?
    If so then I think its the proximity sensor, your newly installed rom may have affected it, check with the site where you got the rom, it may just be a simple fix.

    The display does go off but then i accidently hit off a button, I have to keep the phone away from my face, I am beginning to hate the phone because of it :(:(

    and then if I hold it away from my face, it just doesn't feel right or feel natural :( I either cut people off, hit the number keys or turn the call on to speaker :eek:

    You need Smartlock, you can set it to lock your phone on incoming or outgoing calls. There's lots of other little things you can do as well. Just download and install the cab file at the bottom of the first post. :)

    Hi,
    I've just got my hd2. Great phone, but I'm really disappointed with the limited apps available on the "microsoft marketplace". The "Android Market" is not on my phone. How do I get at the thousands of apps that are out there?

    you cant...google xda developers and o market...o market should be best for win mo apps...remember this is WinMo not Android :) cant have android app shop :)

    The HD2 is a windows mobile phone, not an android one.

    any one have the HD2 on meteor? cant get the internet to work

    got the apn to put in but it doesnt work

    but it doesnt work...any help there? if i cant get it working need to get it done quick so i could cancel my contract for bill pay before 14 days...

    (****ing annoyed...all meteor does say we cant give you setting to a phone we dont sell) its so annoying that their so narrow minded about people using their service with different phones...

    You may have issues with this phone on Meteor, have they fixed the 3g issue? Sorry I am on O2 so can't help :(

    yeah well i sent out an email to meteor asking to terminate my contract...might look into some other Mobile service provider that suits my needs and that can support a phone...so stupid that meteor isnt interested in the need to help their customers on whatever phone they have.

    dont even go about going to a meteor shop...they dont even wanna talk to ya about it...

    Meteor are pretty Poor I am found, have a look at O2, they are really good I find.

    see the girlfriend is meteor :) and i hate texting so needed free calls so thats why i stayed on meteor...

    i was thinking of moving to 02 but meteor has 2x cheaper calls :)20 quid + free texts and calls gets me around a month and a half :) compared to 02 once their gone the credit is gone straight away too :( had the 02 when they were giving out free bebo :D

    I think its a pretty good deal for me, It is a smartphone plan, will always be pricey.

    i dont understand why isnt there cheaper bb packages for prepay...other countries have like 10 quid unlimited data plans add ons ...so you can get your 20 quid free calls and texts and out of that 20 you can pay for the internet...****ing rip off here!

    I recently did a hard reset and i'm trying to hunt down an app i had.

    It was a system info app that when i clicked it gave me the memory used/left and storage used/left on the phone and on the sd card.
    I cant find it anywhere
    Anyone point me in the right direction?

    I don't know the app but the HD2 has a built in app that does that. Settings->Menu->All Settings->System->Memory

    That will display you're memory usage for the Main memory and Storage card.

    You could always create a shortcut to it.

    cause i got GPS iGO 8 and d ****er didnt put a shortcut into main menu so when i need it i need go and hunt it in the file explorer :S there must be an easy way :S i just dont know it yet :D

    had to do 2 hard resets last night too :S tried some modding :D ended up with half a theme first time and 2nd time i disabled HTC sense and didnt know how to turn it on :D sorted now though :)
