So 3 months ago myself and the best man went on a reconasaince mission to see what the best places/pubs are. Now as far as I could tell the whole place is one big red light district?! (Keep in mind we are right across form the train station hotel wise). Now I am partial to strippers but not hanging out in the area all day long!

So for the more learned among you, can you tell me what i missed here and where is the normal pub/nightclub districts?

the area near the main railway station is indeed the red light district

across the river is where you want to go for pubs and bars in frankfurt, the area known as sachsenhausen in particular sachsenhausen nord has whole areas just bars, however you need to be sure what day you go, i have been there on sunday night and nobody in any of the bars

frankensteiner platz tram stop is closest
