Just wondering if anyone has ever been to the Duck and Dog pub. On my way from Athlone to Ballymahon, I often pass it and was wondering if I should stop in. It's the pub at the foot of a big hill. If so, when's the best time? Also, is it more for eating or pinting?

Ya mean, The dog and duck! Used to be a great spot! Havn't been there 4 years, so not sure how its going these days!
