    Recycling Old PC Monitor

Hey all i'm currently in position of a broken PC monitor and i'm looking to find out is there any facility where i can get rid of it, instead of just dumping it with my household waste.

Mainly i'm just interested in it being disposed of properly and is environmental safe.

    I'm living in Limerick.

    Cheers in advance.

Hi leedsfan88, if I'm not mistaken, if you buy a new monitor, the shop is obliged under EU WEEE regulations to take your older monitor for recycling.

If you're not buying a new one or are buying a monitor online, you can still bring the old monitor to a number of recycling units. This website as a list of recycling centres in Limerick:
