Vegas doesnt take .mov??

I have recorded hours in footage in .Mov and i presumed Sony Vegas would take it no problem...but now it turns out Vegas cant handle .Mov!! I cant believe it...so this is all going to have to be converted now to mpeg? Ive recorded in HD...this is going to take a lot of time to convert?

Ive tried converting in Super but the output is awful...any ideas on what settings to use for output or a program that does a better job than Super?

Or is there anyway around this so it doesnt have to be converted ie a plugin or soemthing for Vegas?

Really annoyed about this, but should of checked beforehand.

Ok found out how to do this.

Im sure i wont be the only person to ask this, so the way to get it to work is to install this version of quicktime (its an older version, apparently this is the only one that works).
