Changing name&direct debit details on NTL account

    Hi there!

    A query re the much loved NTL...

    I've moved out of a place I was renting with two others but my name is the sole name on the account. Also, we had a direct debit set up out of a joint acc which has been recently closed down. Does anyone know if there is a way of changing the name on the account and setting up a new direct debit? (oh and without incurring all the million and one fees NTL charge??)

    You need to close the account and open a new one, assuming you are not in the first 12 months of a new contract, there should be no fees...
