I'm optimistic about it, but everyone else around me seems to be putting a big damp mood on it by being all "it's never going to happen you're such an idiot" at me. Bah
Argh! I hate when people have comments to make on other peoples diets. When they are clearly not unhealthy
If your lactose intolerant, your likely to feel much better on a vegan diet.
It would be sensible to think that your likely to last the distance in that case.0 -

Think its time I posted something here, been skulking around here for long enough :pac:
My name is Phil, I'm 23 been a vegetarian for 4 years. I hated eating meat for a few years before that but it took me a while to get the push to go veggie. For the most part I'm lacto ovo but have started moving towards vegan.
Up to lately my cooking skills were pretty basic so I relied a lot on things with dairy or egg in them like quorn but have started to phase them out as I've gotten better at making different foods and will probably go fully vegan in the near future.
I tried to find a picture of me not drunk but have come to the conclusion that none exist so here is a picture of me locked and covered in party decorations.

Best of luck with the switch, it's taken me so many years to not want dairy/eggs/quorn/potatoes all the time. Now it's all about the garlic vegetables mmm0 -

Ok, so I don't know if you get notified when I quote you, and I realise your post was while back now, but a friend of mine is a very srtict vegan and he also tattooes, and I know he wouldn't do ts is the ink he used wasn't animal friendly... if you haven't found a solution I can ask him for you...?

im ken. i just turned 30 (urgh!) im a programmer by day and a photography and history nerd the rest of the time. ive been veggie for 15 years and can easily outrun my meat loving mates

I like all the usuals- reading, music, cinema, sport (mainly rugby and mma), like to cook too, although I seem to do better with baking.. I've had my fair share of disasters when trying some veggie recipes. OK probably more than my fair share

Hello! LOS is 22 and a lady:rolleyes: and I do physics.
I'm fairly vegetarian and partially vegan......I eat fish, I avoid milk products like cheese, butter, yoghurt etc. I eat eggs though.
Soya yoghurt is way nicer imo.
My diet is more of a selfish thing, it's for health reasons more so than moral reasons, just so happens that the two go hand in hand which isn't a bad thing either. I just couldn't watch every single thing that goes into my mouth though, a lot of tablets are lactose based etc so I do what I can without having to over-think things too much.
I haven't ventured over here before so I shall be having a look around :pac:
