I know Logmein is due to be released on Android, but what are the alternatives? Is there a better option available now?

gmote can but I haven't tried to use it to access my desktop remotely yet, just over my wifi.

Although I have used it to freak out my not so technologically minded friends who were using my computer by taking over control of the mouse and typing messages to them!

I use PhoneMyPc - still a little bit buggy, but works well (and has saved my ass a couple of times)
