Lads what are the odds on Uniteds big two being out for next weeks game I dont subscribe to this United are a one man team but i'd much prefer to play against you when those two are out. Rooney was appearently obviously unfit yesterday?

Rooney well definitely be playing imo - he did look unfit yesterday, but he has a further week to get ready for the Spurs game. Don't see it being an issue.

Personally I am hoping Bale picks up a mysterious bug between now and saturday.

fup sake - do ye not realise that taking the points off Arsenal and Chelsea will mean nothing if we don't beat you? Seriously, its like Spurs are only thinking of themselves.

Apparently Mame Diouf's younger brother was attacked by City fans after the match yesterday.

I hate City, but now I absolutely loath them. No one picks on "The Mini One."

It was confirmed by Dioufs agent that it was The One's elder brother who was attacked but no injuries.. the "Big One" (that makes him sound like a burger!)

Tbf, United weren't on the verge of beating the record.

I have a feeling Gerrard and Torres will be 'injured' if Liverpool have nothing to play for.

to be fair, if we have a possible Uefa Cup final coming up after it, and with 4th gone, i'd say there's a good chance we'll rest players.

Papers today saying that Torres could be out for the season, without him I'm not sure where the goals against Chelsea would come from.

I think the best we can hope for from that game is a draw.

Don't know where the papers are coming up with that. The specialist he went to see last week said that he could do with a bit of rest but he's fit to play.

Chelsea can only finish on a max 86pts and Utd 85pts

Thats mad when you think that Pool finished on 86pts last season and only came 2nd.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 21,235 ✭✭✭✭flahavaj

In fairness United would be better off forgetting about what Liverpool will or won't do and just concentrating on doing their own side of things which is getting max points from their last 3 games. Otherwise it won't matter who the Scousers put out.
