Budapest... in 2 days

Thinking of going to budapest for a weekend. It sounds lovely, and like there's lots to do, but is there a must-see for 2 day trip? also fine cuisine would be a must thanks

Maybe. But Gundel's, near Heroes' Square is the eatery in Budapest (Gundel literally wrote the book that defines classic Hungarian cuisine). Second prize might go to Bagolyvár (translated as the Owl's Castle) close by, and connected with Gundel's.
