    Hi,

Tried searching the forums, and Googled - still can't find an answer.
A parent had previously O2 bill pay and was quite happy with the automated "You have reached 086..... " voicemail message.

He signed up to Meteor bill pay, and then stupidly went off creating a personal greeting without realising that's what he was doing. Now I'm stuck trying to rectify it.

So, does anyone know how to turn off the greeting in Meteor voicemail?
(Both the 'make your own' and the one where you just input your name)

    Thanks.

Why don't you call customer care? They'll direct you faster than here. 1905 is the number and it's freephone from any phone.

Don't know if Meteor is the same, but with Vodafone, if you go to change your personal greeting, when it prompts you to record your new greeting press # straightaway. The system deletes the old greeting but doesn't pick up any new greeting and then reverts to the standardised "You are connected to 8xx xxx xxxx" system greeting. Meteor may well be the same?

Failing that, I'm sure a quick phonecall to customer care and they could reset the voicemail profile for the account.
