Can anyone offer a suggestion? - everytime i open a webpage a annoying banner appears at the top of my screen, all US ads, it's probably related to an hiding my ip progamme i downloaded the other day, I deleted/uninstalled it and ran an adwarebot afterwards. it seems to automatically inject itself into javascript header of everypage - it randomly switches to a anchorfree/hotspot shield page - very irritating, and also randomly plays ads (film & sound) - it's like my browsers have been hijacked, i'm not a web expert so it might be something simple, how do I disable javascript to stop this pox??

Try to install a different browser.
Run a scan with Malwarebytes in safe mode.
