Need counselling

    i know this is a medical issue but i thought i would try posting anyway. i need counselling but the doctor says it will be at least a year what should i do?

    If you have the money, you can phone up any counsellor in private practice and make an appointment. I think there are stickies to tell you how to find a suitably qualified one. Some work on a sliding scale depending on your income.

    Also depending on where you are there may be organisations offering low cost counselling nearby.

    Did your doctor specify a particular type of therapy that you'd be waiting a year for?
