I hope it's Vidic, who would dare even attempt to save one from him? Plus, he has the Paradinha penalty perfected.

    Bayern about to kick-off.

Robben doesnt even make the bench.

    Ribery starts

    What a poor performance.

We need the scouse to do us a big favour now to have a chance I fear.

plenty of more games to come

I blame fergie's tactics for today, he should of brought Nani on at half time I felt, I know berba is getting alot of abuse atm but I dont really blame him for today, my blame goes at the midfield again

Nani has to start against Bayern next week, seriously the energy he (and Macheda) brought was what we needed at half time today

Depending on other teams to do us favours isn't how United win leagues. Todays result is decisive imo, especially with the performance. 2 crap showings in a row, this season appears to be limping to its conclusion. So pissed off.

    Arsenal|United|Chelsea
    A Spurs|A Blackburn|H Bolton
    A Wigan|A Man City|A Spurs
    H Man City|H Spurs|H Stoke
    A Blackburn|A Sunderland|A Liverpool
    H Fulham|H Stoke|H Wigan

part of me wants out of the CL asap, oh I do blame berba for a easy volley, a player of his calibre should of buried that, really disappointing from that aspect but he just didnt get alot of help up there

Ribery just put Bayern one up.

    Make that 2 - 0

Bayern score again from the kick-off

Midfield was terrible today again. Berbatov had no support and the service was rubbish. I think SAF got the team selection and tatics wrong.

Nani should have started the game and possibley Macheda as well.

I can't seeing us winning all our remaining fixures, at most i can see us picking up 11 points which means chelsea have to drop plenty of points which i dont think they will, maybe against Spurs and L'pool.

One start all season, he has being injured for most of it.

    Schalke pull one back

Not much Butt could do about it

City away now becomes a monumental fixture.

Fills me with dread even thinking about it.:(

Interesting Robben didnt start, makes you wonder how fit he actually is for wednesday.

Even if fully fit I never really expected him to play today.

One silver lining I guess, is that carrick didn't get a look in today, perhaps SAF has decided to give him a bit of a wake up call and we may not see him for a few games. Let's just say, I wouldn't be disappointed. Hargo can't some soon enough tbh - the midfield issue is just causing such a problem and we badly need a top midfielder this summer.

    Gutted today though. Gutted.

I really worry about out ability to score on Wednesday night - and whatever about getting a scrappy goal from somewhere, I think above all else, we desperately, desperately need to keep a clean sheet.

Given how limp we were today, the fact that I cant see Scholes playing 3 games in the space of a week (especially given his display today) - I expect to see Carrick start on Wednesday.

Middle three will be Carrick/Fletch/Park on Wednesday.

    Nani/Valencia wide I'd imagine.

Berb alone up top, which just doesn't suit him, but the best that can be expected as I can't see Diouf or Kiko starting in a million years.

After todays result the whole team needs a lift and why it may be a gamble i think SAF should start with either Macheda or Diouf who has pace.

I can only see our season coming to an end if we lose on wednesday and im not to confident.

I would gladly have sacrificed Wednesday's result for a stoppage time equaliser today :(

Yeah i think we will struggle on wednesday and even before todays result i thought it as well.

I would love SAF to go all out and sign Ribery at any cost in the summer and even try for Benezma again. I really like look of Macheda at the same time.

I'm working, was right pissed off beforehand but I'm glad I'm in here now or I'd be doing some serious damage tonight.

Theres no need of a lw/rw or striker, a creative cm is a must
