ct_loader_agent application. What is it?

    Hi Guys,

I have parental control for my kid and he keeps getting a dialog box requesting parental permission to run an application called "ct_loader_agent".

Even when I give permission to run it pops up again.

Searching for the app on the computer brings no result and Google has no real info on it. It pops up mostly when running Safari.

Anyone know what it is and how I can get rid of it?

    Thanks

Have you got Vuze installed? Its toolbar doesn't play nice with Safari. Try uninstalling it.

Or better yet, just get rid of Vuze altogether. It's sh*t. Use Transmission instead.

Just ran Safari on my own user, usually use Firefox, and there it was ... Vuze toolbar and some other one. Switched them off. Looks like the kid's growing up :D

    Thanks Prof.

Its used for a few other toolbars also, but vize is the most common, and as SF said, does not like latest safari version, and may even prevent it from opening.

No need for the toolbar so remove it if possible, if it won't let you I think you need to manually remove the toolbar folder in applications and a CT loader folder in /lib/input methods/ , can't remeber the exact address but something like this
