Bioshock 2 and otehrs fo 5 euro when you trade in a game in gamestop

Anyone know which of the GameStop games that are on this offer (like Dante's Inferno, Bioshock 2, etc) are worth the most credit in HMV? Used this today to trade in RE5, put the €29 credit I got for B2 towards Final Fantasy XIII, but might offload a few other games tomorrow for a nice credit balance...

Dante's Inferno would have got me 23 euro in HMV today, Darkriders was 14.
But I kept the two and glad I did, Darkriders is great fun

HMV store credit for the following from what I can remember:

Guitar hero Van halen - €33
Bioshock 2 - €29
Dante's Inferno - €23
Darksiders - €16
Bayonetta - not accepted because it's on sale.

Well after my fun in Game this morning I must add that the staff were fully aware of the gamestop offer. They thought it was a win win situation..Lots of people where buying old games in their pre-owned section and trading them in at gamestop for the newer titles.

I have to say though I am more encouraged to buy something in Gamestop at full price next time due to the offer so maybe it's one of them loss leader deals.

Perhaps we should compile a list of games which can be gotten cheap in Game/HMV/Xtravision and that Gamestop will accept for trade in on the offer.

I was told today the other day by a member of staff that Fracture is not being accepted even though it is onsale in store for 14.99 and as such it should be included as per the guidelines.

Nice idea but no point really as the games they're taking in for this deal seem to vary from store to store.

I traded in Ridge racer 7, alone in the dark, wheelman and the us edition of unreal tournament 3 ( they never accepted it before andthe barcode didnt register

so he put it in as ut2, i met a good one

) in the Gamestop in Blackpool. I got Bioshock 2, Ghostbusters, Dark void and Dantes Inferno. They didnt have Darsiders so i went into Patrick street and used the Orange Box to get that. The difference between the stores was that Patrick Str. had a required €15 minimum trade in value on its games, blackpool hadnt and accepted any game( ut3 and ridge racer 7 had a total trade in value of €3 and i got €100 worth of games

I tried to exchange a sealed copy of Bioshock 2 in Xtra-vision yesterday but they wouldn't take without a receipt and said I would only get 30euro exchange for it.

Probably €20 each cash or €28 each trade-up. Ring your local XV and ask them and they can check it up on the system.

Xtravision are giving €30 for Darksiders,Bioshock 2 and dantes Inferno (Trade in).They will give you phone credit for it which i think is as good as cash.

Xtravision are still selling it for €49.95 and €39.95 second hand, thats why you have to shop around for games. the E-mails must be flying because of Gamestop offer, dont expect any game price or trade in offer to last for long. e.g. Guitar hero Aerosmith is €42.95 in Gamestop and €14.99 in Xtravision

Just back from Blackpool. Traded Bioshock 1 and Alone in the Dark for Darksiders and Vancouver 2010.

Went to Xtravision and traded Bioshock 2 & Darksiders (which I got previously) but they wouldn't take Dantes Inferno for some reason. Found Battlefield 2 in the 2nd hand section for €30 so happy days!

I've traded the following PS3 games in Mullingar: Unchartered 1: Drakes Fortune, Rainbow 6: Vegas 2, Spiderman: Web of Shadows, Tombraider: Underworld and Prince of Persia for 3 copies of Bioshock 2 and 2 copies of Dantes Inferno.

Kept 1 copy of Bioshock and traded the others in xtravision for GOW3 and FFXIII.

Traded in Guitar Hero: World Tour for Bayonetta in Gamestop Athlone today.

Great deal. Gonna try pick up Darksiders tomorrow.
