I wouldn't think there would be any necessity for the Gov to keep stats like that. However, a trawl of the golden Pages shows that there are 10 results for Christian (in category Booksellers) in Ireland.
i'd say that close to a census on that one - there are 2/3 more under 'religious booksellers' and i would suggest that they are 'Christian' as they are in Knock.
