Way to completely ignore the second half of my point in my reply that you quoted. m21 rules for taking on multiple enemies at once

sry bout that :D I completely missed that..
    work was interrupting me ;)

    m21 rules in Hardcore.

If used in core mode it has to be silenced, otherwise there is no point to using it.

P.S. why ACOG it? You trying to make it like the FAL except with Sway while ADS? Plus if you ACOG it, you are either running it unsilenced or using Bling... if you're using Bling you have no SoHP which is key to any sniper class unless you are scoped in 90% of the time.

I used scavenger with the M21 or WA200...I find I get a lot more kills both from the M21 and my backup M93 thus I need the ammo and especially for replenishing claymores...
I always run with the M93 out to be prepared and it's only when I actually settle into a spot do I start to snipe.

I originally ACOG'ed it to complete one of the challenges so far as I remember. But I found it a nice set up for kind of skirmishing about the place. I don't really find SoHP that essential for sniping to be honest. If you position yourself well you generally have enough time to aim. Also I'm quite a fan of hip firing the sniper rifle at close range (well the M21 with a large clip anyhow)

Switching back and forth between the Intervention and .50 cal. Technically the .50 cal is probably better but I find myself using the Intervention alot more. I love the feel of it and somehow get a hell of a lot more one-shot kills than with the Barrett.

The other snipers in the game are gack in my opinion.

I presume you mean sniper guns rather sniper players? ;)

I prefer the WA2000, got my biggest killstreak of 23 with it. I do like it more the Barret.

if you liek that try the m21.

thou funny. lately i'm leaning towards the barrett !

I don't snipe that often - only couple of maps but I'm quite liking the WA2000 at the moment. The Intervention never really clicked for me, I only really used the Barrett in the past with moderate success.

    Barret for me.

Got to say I get great satifaction of getting snipey kills, even though I dont generally get as many kills as I would with the ACR, boy it is fun.

And if anyone every sneaks up behind me while I'm scoping and stabs me in the back, I say kudos to your sir, I hate snipers when I'm running around with an assault rifle too! :)

Actually I found I was getting loads more one-shots with the WA2000 than anything else, and this is with the stock sight!

I had never used it before yesterday bar for maybe two rounds before I prestiged. It is now the only sniper I'm comfortable with the stock sight on. Almost got a nuke with it and I didn't have scavenger. Called in the C.G. and got enough kills with it except for the fact my body died while I had it out. I get a high number of one shot kills with it also. Now I have the FMJ on it, after just 2 hours of using it!

i use the intervention on normal games and m21 on hardcore.
i find the baretts recoil to be a pain in the arse, i never used it in cod4 either.

I just started using the Invention last night for the craic, SOH Pro, STOP PRO and Steady Aim... absolutely loving it now, serious weapon. It just seems a little more mobile than the others I've used, Barrett & WA2000.

I have been using the Intervention since I got the game and then last week I decided to try out the Barrett and I've gotta say I'm liking it. For some reason I seem to be doing better at quickscoping with the Barrett, possibly because of its faster aiming. Although I do seem to get more hitmarkers with it so I dunno. At the moment I'm gonna say the Intervention is better but I'm having more fun with the Barrett. Its all down to personal preference.

Barret FTW but the most used and respected sniper is Intervention i even do better with it. Its easier to no scope because the crosshairs are not that wide. Its bolt so its old school for the guys that play since cod 2 / 3 , CS. M21 is really good but its not respected that much and WA2000 is a piece of s**t.

But thats what i observed use whatever you feel comfortable with :)

    Intervention.

I extended the mags on it last night so there are 10 bullets a mag now. All by level 40*

    *Level 40, 2nd prestige

Used the Barrett first time around, loved it and mastered it and had fall camo and all.

Tried the Intervention when I prestiged and I find myself missing the Barrett.
To me it seems that the Intervention is less accurate and less powerful (amount of time I get hit markers after hitting torso but not killing the target even with Stopping Power = :( ) but that's just my own opinion on it rather than there being any sort of empirical data behind it.

Tried the M21 out too, found it decent at first (thermal/silencer and no Stopping power) but moved away from it to try out the WA, which seems to have the least recoil and is best if you're trying Cold Blooded instead of stopping power.

WA2000 sorry guys but its really bad weapon. Sniper has to be one shot. Bolt is the best. When you snip also dont drag scope / hard scope. Take the target in crosshairs and them scope in.

What does this mean in English ?

Prefer the 50cal myself, I've got the Fall camo for it and still use it over the Intervention

A drag scope: Flick your thumbstick as you pull the trigger. The game will register it as an accurate shot if your reticule is over your target at any point during the shot.
A hard scope: is when your aiming down your sights for too long.

Your crosshairs are 4 tiny white lines in the screen usually where you are aiming , by getting someone in your crosshairs ,they are in the centre of the little white lines. (North, south, east, west position)

Sorry ,i know my explanation isnt great
