Nobody I know wears shorts over tights. It seems that's more a look you would see on some old geezer going for a run around his farm:cool:

    Oiiihhhhhhhhhhh !

As an old geezer representative (no farm though) there nothing wrong with shorts over tights. Only way to go in my opinion - training and races.

Anyway there is a point at which it gets so cold I don't care. Besides which I have not seen any sign of itbs this winter and some of that could be the tights.

    I'll tell ya ... kids today .......<muttering> </end muttering>

I've braved even the capri's during daylight... Have almost reached the point where I don't care what anyone thinks, but shorts are still the number one choice for almost all occasions.

Haven't braved either the tights or the capri's in work though, the comments are bad enough when I'm in shorts and bright orange jacket!

I always thought a Capri was a retro sports car made by Ford. Now if you wore the tights in the capri, then your workmates would for once and all think you are a cool dude:cool:

Today was the first day in months I went out without the Canterbury's - just shorts. What do I get - chafing and blisters where the sun rarely shines.

Oh joy for the warmer weather :(

As to the poll - When COLD...

If Gene Hunt crashed his Quattro then he'd probably have a Capri as the backup car:

Yup I wear them, only started this year as my new hockey team was mad for them. For running they got me out a lot of times this horrible winter (lil bit of a wuss), but glad to be back to shorts now :D

I have used tights since last year doing some running to get back fit I bought a pair of BSC I run in them sometimes but mainly for recovery and find them great at least next day Im able to go and do even small bit of training where it was taking a day to recover with no tights

Tried wearing them twice over the winter on really cold days. Just couldn't get used to them. For some reason they made my legs feel cramped.

    Shorts only since then.

I used to wear the ronhill ones when i was younger but found them restrictive..asics were revealing around the crotchular region but the nike ones are awesome! they look the business, keep the junk all concealed and i wear them with short tights underneath for..coverage! ha ha ha.

The 2xu ones are very cool looking
