NTL black DVR box recording problems

    Hi, asking on behalf of my brother.

    He has the black DVR NTL box... When he records shows/films there is always 10minutes missing from the start... The show he recorded yesterday started right on time as i watched it myself at home, so thats not the problem.

    Also the time on the NTL box is correct.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated, before i have to spend 10 hours on hold to ring their customer service:D

    Good idea,

    He changed the settings so that the box starts recording 10 minutes before the show starts and finishes 10 minutes after the show is supposed to finish.

    I'll expand on how he did it when i hear from him.

    EDIT : He said just go into the DVR settings and you will be able to do it

    That isn't really fixing the problem. Its getting around it.
