Went to plug tv into wall socket to see if i could get Bog 1&2 before ordering upc but found the cable coming from the wall socket wouldnt fit the analouge connection on the telly. Is this an existing mmds connection? Can i get an adapter so i can plug it in and get bog 1 & 2 while waiting for upc digital mmds?
Incase the pic attached isnt clear its a screw in male connection.

Ah yeah you need a connector to switch from thet F connector into a coax connector.
You can get just an adapter or a whole cable with two different connections on either end.

just after spotting that there is a satellite dish up on the side of the house as well as the mesh aerial on the chimney. i suppose there is no way to tell which is connected to the wall socket without rooting in the attic or does satellite use a different connector again?

Its the same connector normally. Is it not coming from a NTL/UPC box on the wall?
Is it the same colour coming from the satellite dish?

Figured out that its coming from the satellite dish. No upc box on the wall. If it was mmds would there have been one? i thought that was only for calbe upc.
