But if you mean during combat then I don't think so

you can add during game by pressing escape and add from there. but you have to search for people it seems. can't easily add from game you're in.

Selecting the "add friends" during a game is a common cause for a crash.
Sometimes it won't let you exit the screen - forcing a ctrl+alt+del jobby
So be warned
