    Would it be naughty of me to Plug Rock 'n' Roll nights on here?

    the music's been great and the scene is lovely aswell, but the numbers this semester since starting on thursdays have been mediocre.

    the band is local, talented and it's free in, and there's usually a chance to win prizes and what not for dancing.

    this thursday is shaping up to be very important, possibly the most important all semester (for reasons I won't go in to). so for the love of god don't miss it.
    it start at 9:30/10 (again, thursday)

    Rock and roll night on Thursdays is fantastic. Really great atmosphere.

    Lol, no that wasn't me, that was thomas (guitarist)

    oou: I can confirm:

    we landed the drinks promotions!!! (in other words certain drink will be cheaper I believe)

    and some VERY nice dance competition prizes. <rubs fingers intently>

    I can't wait for tomorrow, I love putting enegry into shows but this is our first RAG week in O'Neills and it'll be special.
    Things have been good but a little bit "neither-here-nor-there" since Semester 2 started, but for tomorrow evening everything is in place: advertizing, drinks promotion, dance competition, songs, music, charity week crowd.

    it should be good.

    tonight went good.

    and two lucky boys (would you believe) won first prize in the dance off, and won a crate of beer (24 bottles I believe)

    you'd have to win 3 roost quizes in a row to match that, and the dance competition only lasted for like, 6 minutes.

    the drinks promos were good too, there were a few things on it for less then 4, and there were certains things their for 3 euros.

    if you consider the music, the craic, and now the competition and the drinks promotion, it's too good a night to let slip.

    and we finish early so you can carry on to a late bar after.

    It is going-out utopia.

    Went last night. Was brilliant despite the fact I was sick. It's the second time I've gone. Thomas keeps trying to convince me to go! He's a bully sometimes! :P :D The band were great as they were before! Hopefully you can keep the nights up! I try go whenever I can!
