Sentry gun problems

    Hi guys,

    I'll start by saying my problem isn't with getting killed by sentry guns, if you know they're there and keep running in front of them you deserve it. I just want to see if anyone else is having the problem where you throw a flash or a stun grenade at them but NOTHING happens, they just keep on firing!! A few of my friends have this problem as well.

    Anyone else having this problem? It can't just be the few of us.

    Yeah, I've always noticed that. Tried a few times unsuccessfully to flash bang or stun a sentry gun, but never seems to work. Now I don't even bother. I just always make a point of going around them and trying to disable them for others.

    It is strange as they do say it's possible on the little tips thing at the bottom when the map is loading, but I can't say I've ever done it!

    use cold blooded and you can run up to it from the front and disable it

    I have disabled them temporarily with flash bangs before but after about a month it just stopped working?

    On a side note, I had one before from an Emergency Airdrop and it counted toward my killstreak :confused:

    This annoys the hell out of me. Glad to see it's not just me suffering from it.
    I always figured it was supposed to work in the same way claymores get disabled but it doesn't seem to work at all.

    Tried this before, but i just figured im behind it i may as well knife it while im here, i know cold blooded works but i like having stopping power or hardline on. It does say in the game tips before a match it does work and it shouldn't really matter where the flash or stun grenades come from. just saying :P

    i didnt know both flash and stun did the job i thought it was one or the other ....just cant remember which one i normally just circle around kill the player predictably guarding it and then knife it
