    I found a bottle of sparkling cider in my parents attic the other day and its been there for the past 22 years!!!!! is it safe to drink?

    Yes -- there aren't any known pathogens which will survive in even a small concentration of alcohol. Chances are it'll taste awful, but it's not likely to kill you.
