I'll give you one more day to redeem yourself, don't go letting me down.

Apparently the biggest news in Chelsea thread today was that some lad at Napoli signed a new contract.

In 10 years we will have a busy thread ;)

yeah sky cameras had them anyway

Bryan and Joel or Bryan and Avi, not sure which is which tbh! the names came up of course, but that was many hours ago now!

    ********

Have to say I quite enjoyed the BBC coverage.

Shearer, Hansen, Southgate and Lineker did a top job.

I cant wait for the world cup on the BBC.

The lads give a great analysis and give ya a good laugh.

I would love them over Sky for the Premier league.

    Sadly that wont ever happen.

Couldnt watch it cause of Shearer, the sight of his face actually angers me an unbelievable amount!

wasnt most of their talk about Rooney not starting? thats what the general jist was in the thread anyway, that it wasnt great stuff.....

meh, there isnt much difference in them all to me

Ruud Gullit is painful to watch, Redknapp is annoying due to how much he just wants Richard Keys job

i like Lee Dixon on the bbc actually, he is good, Hansen and Lawro used to be up there for me, but they dont interest me anymore

i guess i just love Dunphy too much :D

honourable mention for Gordan Strachan, always entertaining

and Souness too actually, much better pundit then manager, not too much of an achievement i know but how is ever

Cool, I'm not 100%. They were just the two that came to mind, when thinking back.

I hate the way Jamie Redknapp always questions the other guests and asks them "dont you think that" or "what do you think Ruud, Glenn, Mark etc" Its not his job and I bet it pisses Keys off big time.

stats can be used and/or manipulated to prove anything to be honest 78% of all poeople know this

If you honestly rate the defenders on that list higher then Vidic yourself, then fair enough, but dont just throw flawed stats out as a reason

Vidic being injured so much renders those stats pretty much null and void

How often or how long a player has been injured has to come into it when you evaluate a players season.

I don't think he is a player in decline but I would not rate him the top cd in the world because of the injurys this season , pretty much the same reason for rio .

You not comparing like for like if you look at a player who has played 20 games in a season becuase of injury and some one who has been fit and played 40/50 games ! ( on my iPhone so have not looked up the exact amount)

the stats give an over all view and breakdown nit just the games they were fit for ,

I like what you did with the 78% but it's more than likely 81.% :)

Just watched the 2007/2008 season review again for nostalgia's sake. I know Rooney is on fire this season, and whether that is down to Ronaldo moving on or not is another thing, but my God how I miss the little winker.

Also, I love my new desktop :)

Glad i missed all that from last night and i jsut thought 4 pages, bound to be some interesting stuff in there. Alas no, all i found out was that Vidic may or may not be finsished but either way he's worth 25M and people don't understand the meaning of irony.

so with vidic looking set to move in the summer, and this persistent injry of rio's, we're left with wes brown, johhny evans, jos and chris smalling, these names hardly strike fear into any half decent striker.

    CARLING CUP CHAMPS....WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Hopefully we can add the league to it. Need to up the performance and consistency levels though.

Need Vidic to assert himself and get back to his best.

Need Berbatov to step up and put in performances more like we saw yesterday.

Need Valencia to keep whipping them across and Rooney to keep knocking them in.

    COME ON UNITED.

Also, was amazed at seeing the amount of green and gold on show yesterday.

    to make a point.

You said Vidic us set to leave in the summer despite repeated and almost constant denials from Vidic, Fergie and Vidic's agent. The way you put is as almost inevitable fact, despite the denials, renders the rest of your post void.

I would say there is a chance Vidic will leave in the summer, but i wouldn't say it is set in stone. Also, yeah, being left with a crocked Rio to partner either Evans or Smalling would leave us fooked.

well i didnt mean to put it so set in stone, well with chance that vidic is going, and I think he will, but thats not the point, we are left with a vulnerable to say the least defence, i think the **** could hit the fan for us next season.

    this, i agree with.

If Vidic was to be sold, we would have to bring someone on to replace him, someone experienced in my opinion.
