Lol at Vidic in 'terminal' decline.

**** sake flahavj. Reel your neck in lad.

Injuries have plagued him all season. But hold on, Giggs was in 'terminal' decline around the turn of the century right?

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 6,956 ✭✭✭CHD

Now I think of it with Ferdinand crocked United can't afford to sell Vidic no matter how good the offer.

Giggs is an excellent example of how a decline can be turned around

not that i agree Vidic is in decline, he is in his peak tbh, just had a bad run of injuries this season

    I agree with this.

I do think there is a chance he could be gone in the summer, but i don't thin we can aford to lose him given that we simply can not count on Rio to play in any given game.

Bollix. Your talking completely out of your arse.

You want to sell one of the best CBs in the world.

I asked you who you would replace him with, you have no answer.

I asked you to list his decline.

    You have no answer.

I've asked you who you think are the best CBs in the world.

    You have no answer.

    And I'm being childish.

Log off for fook sake, your making a fool of yourself.

You can abuse me all you like, I refuse to join you on your little merry-go-round of banality Boggles, I've seen you in action far too many times to fall into that trap.:pac:

The only reason I agreed is 25M is alot, he seems to not be to bothered if he moves or stays and will eventually move on so why not get a big price. Ferdinand could well b down to one game a week and injured alot so Vidic is vital to winning titles, Evans ain't there yet.

seriously, if Vidic goes and we end up relying on Evans and Smalling next season, we're fooked.

Smalling is a partner for Evans and excellent management IMO, something I called for at the start of the season.

    Vidic aint going anywhere.

Besides Madrid don't pay for players in their "decline". They pay for top class, and thats exactly what Vidic is, new contract in summer next 4 years at least at united..

Love how it takes a Chelsea fan to bring a bit of sanity to this thread.

Basically the only thing keeping Vidic at United is Rio's dodgy back.

Wonder could they get Madrid to sign him for a few quid as well?

Its not even that Rio is down to one day a week - from what I have seen so far this season indicates that Rio could play 3 games in a week, or none in a month. Neither the club, nor himself, know how his back is going to be from day to day and he simply can't be planned for at the moment. We couldn't, for example, keep him out of the United game next weekend to keep him for the Milan game, because he could arrive at OT on the morning of the Milan game and feel that ever familiar 'twinge'.

Not so sure we be fooked but understand what your saying.

Dont think Vidic will go myself but if he does and considering the financial position we are in now dont think Ferguson will be paying big bucks for another top class CB

Nothing to do with him being a world class centre back and playing for the most successful club team in recent history??

Your posts are getting odder!!!

I don't think CHD is even agreeing with me per se. But he does make a good point.

Not that it matters either way, except to you seemingly.

nah boggles, we won the prem last season in spite of having Vidic and Carrick in the team. United carried those two, and Ronaldo cause of his lack of effort, and Berbatov cause he does nothing.

he actuallu seems to want to stay

considering this is what he has said in every interview he has given

    and to address another thing

if Vidic goes in the summer and our options at centre back are Ferdinand, Evans and Smalling.... we are fukced, no two ways about that

Love how it takes a retarded statement like 'Vidic is in terminal decline' to bring insanity to this thread.

    Go figure.

Don't forget Rooney, he is only marginally better than Kuyt.

Because while not particularly relavent, the irony was quite delicious nonetheless.

Again I'll ask on thread, who is a better central defender overall than Vidic in world football?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,369 ✭✭✭UnitedIrishman

    William Prunier FTW.

Tell me, how is it 'ironic'?

How is a chelsea fan, maybe, agreeing with you in saying Vidic is, possibly, in terminal decline, ironic?
