How to get to Thorncastle Str. Irishtown from Adamstown Lucan using public transport?

I can may be get the train to Heuston from adamstown train station - and may be then get red luas to the point! but then is there any bus going across to Thorncastle Str?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Get the LUAS from Heuston to the Abbey Street stop at Wynn's hotel near the junction with O'Connell Street.
Walk back the direction the LUAS has come with and turn right onto O'Connell Street. Either the first or the second bus stop you come to should be for the number 3 bus.
You can get that almost all the way to Thorncastle Street.

**edit Or you could walk across from the Point.

Luas to the point is the easiest way - it's ust a 5 minute walk across the East Link to Thorncastle Street in Ringsend :D

Thorncastle Street is in Ringsend, not Irishtown.

Another alternative is to get on the 151 at Adamstown and stay on the bus until the Point Depot and then walk across the Eastlink bridge.

Thorncastle Street is the street directly in front of you as you cross the bridge.
