Anybody on here use one? If so what is it called would you recommend it?

I had one before that I was very happy with but, that was on another laptop. I haven't been able to find it since but, it would build my pdf straight from my tex file and view it if I pressed ctrl-alt-1.

    All input welcome,
    Thanks

"apt-get install gedit-latex-plugin" on Ubuntu. Haven't used it much, but it looks pretty useful.

I'm not sure if it's the one I'm looking for but, thanks. I've tried two recently but, no luck.

I'm not sure either (;)), but it has the Ctrl-Alt-1 shortcut for an embedded PDF preview.

It does? Hmmm, might be. I'm working in Fedora and I thought I tried that o one this machine but, Ctrl-Alt-1 didn't work. I'll have a look later and let you know!
