Only a few people have commented on it so far though, I'm sure there'll be some other suggestions.

Fitzsimons is a nice spot, but maybe a bit big?
I have an idea. If and when there's a pole put up have options for

Yes - attending and a smoker
Yes - attending and a non - smoker
    Not attending
    Maybe attending and smoker
Maybe attending and non - smoker.

That way if there's a good group of smokers we'll try aim for a good beer garden.

Sure it doesn't even necessarily have to be IN the city centre. If we leave enough space for it I'm sure people won't mind a little commuting. If we got enough number we could always organise a mini-bus from city centre or something. can't see it being that much extra TBH if we get the right number.

I think I'd like to go to this. Would be going from Greystones so city centre-ish would be good.

Thanks. Don't think I'm around on 6th or 13th so after that. Don't mind where really but I probably wouldn't travel further north than city centre [distance].

I was at the last one in Capitol. It was good. Manager was great, Bouncers brilliant.

I like Fitzsimons, I doubt there'd be enough people to book the whole roof out though.

The manager there is really sound. He gave me a voucher for 25 free cocktails when I went in to ask about a prize for a student radio station!

Capitol are very accomodating to people!

Eh? I went on that radio show....where is my Daquiri?

Well, another beers! :D I will likely make an appearance at this! :)

13th has my vote (even if there is another forum on boards having a beers that night :pac:) - mainly cause its my birthday and ill be plastered either way, 6th is a no (probably too soon anyway) - as for venues, D2 is awesome out the back, was there for a BGRH beers a year or so ago and it has a huge smoking area, food, dj and dancefloor downstairs and a bar in the smoking area. really nice place

I actually just noticed that myself!:D

Well, the number of the beast says......let this be held on the 26th or 27th of March!!

I really like D2 myself. It has a decent bar on the main street level and a big heated smoking area out the back. Also if you are in at a decent hour and get in to the main bar, you can just walk down the stairs into the niteclub when it opens, without paying the admission fee.

The Capitol is also quite good and I like it. Nowhere for dancing though.

Fitzsimons is ok, never been mad pushed on it to be honest.

I'm out of the country from 26th of March until the 5th/6th of April (although it's looking likely I will be back on the 2nd now), with plans for the 9th and 10th of April too. So I'm ruled out on those dates.

However it's better to pick a date that suits as many as possible. If I can make it, I will.

Fitzsimon's is a good laugh ... only problem is the prices of drinks in there. I paid 6.50 for a pint of Bulmers once!

Short-changing. It's a common practice amongst some bar people. Drunk people they target, and some people who they think won't be confrontational about.

Oh, I shook your hand at the last beers, woot go me!

Well, if I wasn't so passive, I'd have given out ... I was in a good mood so I wasn't bothered to get mad about it! :D

Ohhh, were you the other blonde girl? The last beers ... I had Absinthe beforehand. I won't be drinking it EVER again! :o
