David Duchovny is looking well for 50y/o in the TV show "Californication".

I think the show is trying to promote the idea that you can stay looking young, have a six-pack and drink yourself stupid every night so long as make up for it by (1) sleeping til noon, (2) not inconveniencing yourself with a 9-to-5 job and (3) getting plenty of exercise bedding women 20 years younger than you.

Sounds like a plan!

(incidently this is the fella - Charles Bukowski - that Californication is based upon. He actually did live the life and had the face to show for it :pac: )

Not really an ideal comparison. In the 1989 pix he was playing a character who was 10 years older than Connerys real age at the time. So while Connery certainly looks his actual age IRL I'd say they did everything they could (clothes , glasses, make up etc) to make him look even older than that for the sake of the character in question.

Just watching The Sweeney now - ITV4+1 (Sky Channel 180) and Patrick Mower hasn't changed much in almost 40 years.

He's also wearing a skin tight choker necklace thing in it that he still wears to this day.

If anything he looks better now .. at 70!! :eek:
