Heard the Valuts and the Acadamey are good spots for the hip hop scene, havnt been there though.

I don't know about this specific night, I just posted it cos I saw it on the Irishhiphop forum. They generally tend to have interesting stuff in the Twisted Pepper. It's not a particularly nice looking venue, but they've got 3 floors so if you wander about sometimes you can come across something interesting.

I think one of my friends is DJing that night on a different floor as well. They've got some sort of bizarre chip tune collective of about 20 people playing.
