Increasing Alcohol Content!!

I am now on my 2nd brew, I am thinking of Muntons Gold Continental Pils 3KG. They say that the alcohol content will be approx. 4.5%. Anyone any hints on how to bump up the alcohol content by 1 or 2%. Many thanks & hopefully someone has a suggestion, Thanks. FyFyTa.:D:D

More Sugar. But why?

You risk unbalancing the beer. AFAIK The kit's designed to taste and feel a certain way in your mouth, and the alcohol content is part of that mouthfeel thingy. Increasing it mightn't have any effect, or it might.

If alcoholic content is all you're after, go for a different kit, or else go for spirits.

Yep. I think you're correct Prenderb . I'm just expeimenting with everything at this stage. I will take your advice on board!!:cool:
